Hi all! I just wanted to let you know that Amazon is letting me give my book away for free again on Kindle. So check it out this Friday or Saturday, and get All the Places There are Faces for free! Yay!
Since putting this book together, I've captured so many more amazing faces that I'm thinking of writing a part 2! Who knows!
Seeing faces in ordinary objects is something I've experienced since I was a kid (especially faces in rocks). Apparently that doesn't change when you get older. It's kind of like seeing things in the clouds. And ya, I do that too... Anyway, I think that kind of thinking has helped me see new possibilities, which is one reason this book was so fun to put together. Nevin Alderman, a friend of mine who is a therapist, read All the Places There are Faces and shared the following review on Facebook:
In our support of families, we stumbled upon a great book. If you have young children or work with them, you should check it out! Great for application in play therapy, in an educational setting or at home! It promotes imagination and encourages curiosity in a child's surroundings, and sets the stage for a tremendous exploratory activity with the child following the reading of the book! Books like these are wonderful in stimulating a child's mind and supporting cognitive development. They are also great at supporting early thought flexibility in children who might tend to be rigid or literal in their approach to the world around them. Enjoy! ~Nevin Alderman
So check it out and let me know what you think!
